Turquoise Genuine Native American Silver Cuff Bracelet Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green hydrated copper aluminium phosphate mineral. Turquoise is one of the oldest known gem materials. The Egyptians were mining turquoise in 3,200 BC in the Sinai. This material came from China. Like most Turquoise on the market, it is stabilized. The name means Turkish stone, because the trade route that brought it to Europe used to come via Turkey. A pure blue stone is very rare, most Turquoise has inclusions of its host or matrix rock. Navajo Native Americans use to bring rain by throwing a Turquoise stone into a river while praying to the rain gods. In central Asia the thought that Turquoise could protect you fom falling lead to decorating horse tack with the stone. Metaphysical Properties: Turquoise is a stone of self-forgiveness, self-acceptance, and the release of use less regrets. This stone is set in a genuine Native American hand-crafted sterling silver cuff bracelet. The stone is 23 mm in diameter. Bracelet is 1 inch wide and is adjustable (one size fits all). Bracelet is stamped "sterling", and "Begay" -the artist's name. Shipping terms: I am always happy to combine shipping.
