Maw Sit Sit with Jadeite Jade Gemstone Bargain Cabochon

A gorgeous pieces of vibrant green Maw Sit Sit.   

It is a rare green gemstone that has dark-green to black veining; it sometimes has white spots. Maw-sit-sit has a hardness of 6. This stone is found near jadeite, in fact jadeite is a component, but it there is controversy on wether it can be called Jade.

Although its exact composition is still unknown, Maw-sit-sit is composed of chromite, ureyite, chrome jadeite, symplektite, chrome amphibole, and other lighter minerals.

This beautiful cabochon is custom cut in a 27 mm by 14 mm at its widest, freeform triangle shape for the creative jeweler.   It is 4 mm thick.    #3
