Purple Fluorite Cubes Crystal Mineral Specimen

Beautiful dark purple natural Fluorite crystal mineral specimen from Illinois.

Fluorite is a calcium fluoride crystal with a hardness of 4. It can be found in a wide range of colors, sometimes in multiple colors. It is named after its composition containing fluorine (Latin, fluere = "to flow"). During the 19th century, fluorite was mined in England for its ornamental value.

This specimen is almost 3.5 inches long by about 2.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall.
