19 Pieces of Sunstone from India, totally 18.1 pounds!   The slab is not included but shown as an example-this material is so new I don't have anything polish yet to show how the material finishes.   It is shown wet in the first picure.

Sunstone is a gemstone in the feldspar group that exhibits schiller because the hematite or goethite inclusions reflecting light (like an internal glow!).   On Mohs’ scale of hardness, sunstone ranks 6 to 6.5.    It is a reddish orange color with sparkling inclusions!    It is slightly translucent

The name Sunstone is a reference to its warm color and reflection of light, just like the sun.

Metaphysical Properties:  Sunstone can inspire one who wears it to be a leader.  In ancient times it was used by Magicians to invoke the energies associated with the Sun.
