Gray Agate Stone Hand Carved Animal Elephant Rock

This hand carved elephant is so cute and so life like! I do not know the material-it is some kind of gray agate.  It was custom carved in China.

The elephant is the symbol of strength, luck and wisdom.  The elephant is also considered a strong symbol of luck - keep a lucky elephant at the door to your house to protect from bad luck and to bring good luck to all who live there.

The elephant is 5.5 inches long and 4.5 inches wide at the ears and 5.5 inches tall.    It weighs 2.14 lbs.

Elephants have been revered in Thailand for many centuries.  In fact they are the national symbol of Thailand.  And of course, the symbol of the Republican party here in the U.S.A.!
