Celestite Blue Crystal 1.75 inch Stone Sphere Decorator Rock Celestite is a favorite among mineral collectors. Its sky blue (or celestial) color is very pretty, and it is unique in the mineral kingdom. This piece came from Madagascar. It is a mineral consisting of strontium sulfate. The mineral is also known as celestine. Celestite occurs as crystals, and also in compact massive and fibrous forms. It is mostly found in sedimentary rocks. This "sphere" has an beautiful crystal face. There is one large crystal and several smaller light blue crystals. There is a little damage around the edges of the crystal pocket. The back is solid natural rough Celestite. The sphere is about 1.75 inches in diameter and about 1.5 inches thick. Metaphysical properties: Celestite is said to be an angelic stone. It can connect you to all aspects of the angelic realm, and to angels themselves. It is said that celestite was given powers by angels to raise consciousness, and to bring guidance from the angels.
