Dinosaur Bone Cab Designer Cabochon Gemstone Fossil

This is authentic Petrified Dinosaur Bone from Utah!

The stone people today call dinosaur bone is more properly known as silicified (transformed into silica) fossil of dinosaur bone. The substance is a pseudomorph, the atom-by-atom replacement of one mineral for another without changing the original mineral's external appearance. In this case, bone has been replaced by chalcedony.

This extra large oval cabochon has been custom cut with the creative jeweler in mind. It is 93 mm (3.75 inches!) long by 40 mm wide and 8.5 mm or more than .25 inch thick.

Shipping terms: I am always happy to combine shipping. I prefer to ship Priority, but will ship anyway you want if you contact me first. I usually ship within 3 business days domestically and Priority International, but it can take up to 1 week for First Class International.
