Stone Animal Carving Horse Pony Standing Brown Gold Tigereye Lovely gold Tiger's Eye from Africa. Tigereye (or Tiger's eye) is a quartz usually with rich yellow and brown stripes, but can be red or blue. It contains oriented fibers of crocidolite that have been replaced by silica. The fibers are twisted or crumpled instead of straight, reminiscent of sand and sunlight. Tigereye is also vitreous (hard, unbendable and glasslike). With its strong chatoyance, the gemstone gets its name from its resemblance to the eye of a tiger Custom hand carved into a small pendant, 1.25 inches long by 1 inch tall and .25 inch thick. It is drilled on its head, and strung on a cloth cord that is adjustable to hang at any length you want up to 13 inches. I have 5 of these-each one is similar but hand carved and unique. You may not ge the one pictured-I will choose for you! Native Americans believe the horse fetish symbolizes swiftness, strength, and enlightenment. It also possess healing powers.
