Chrysocolla Malachite Polished Decorator Rock

This is lovely polished piece of mostly light green Malachite, with a little bit of blue Chrysocolla. It is polished on top and left rough everywhere else.

This material is found in the oxidation zone of major copper deposits. This piece came out of the Morenci Mine, Arizona.

Piece is triangular shaped-4 inches long by 3 inches wide, and 1.25 inches thick. It does not stand on its own.

Chrysocolla is named from the Greek chrysos - "gold" and kolla - "glue" in allusion to the name of the material used to solder gold. Malachite is is named for the Greek word for "mallow", a green herb.

Metaphysical Properties: Chrysocolla is associated with serenity, tranquility, peace, patience, tolerance, acceptance, uncondional love, meditation, calmness, hope gentleness and sensitivity. Malachite is said to assist you in changing situations. A great soothing combination!
