Brazilian Agate Stone Matched Pair Cabochon Gemstone This is lovely, translucent (clear!), striped Brazilian Agate from Brazil. Banded agates are some of the most popular agates. They are found all around the world, with Brazil being one of the most productive sources. Agate is a form of Chalcedony, or a microcrystalline quartz. The name is derived from its occurrence at the Achates River in southwestern Sicily. See the price sticker? That's the white in the background. There is a red/brown stripe and 3 black stripes. These cabochons are cut with the creative jeweler in mind, in a matched pair for earrings. They are 15 mm rounds. Please note: Items are One of A Kind, due to the natural stone material there may be some natural cracks or inclusions. Major faults will be listed. You'll will always receive the item pictured unless otherwise noted! Any questions??-please contact me. E-mail a friend about this item. | |||||||||||||||
