Blue Chrysocolla Polished Piece Rock Stone Slab

This is a gorgeous slab of Chrysocolla Malachite from the Bagdad Copper Mine in Arizona.

This lovely piece is thickly slabbed and polished on one side. The polished face is 2.5 inches long by 1.75 inches wide and .slighltly slanted from 5 to 6 mm thick.

Chrysocolla is known as a healing stone among Native American Indian cultures where it was used for strengthening the body's resistance and bringing about calm feelings where there is upset.

Chrysocolla is named from the Greek chrysos - "gold" and kolla - "glue" in allusion to the name of the material used to solder gold. Cuprite is named from the Latin, cuprum, meaning copper.

Metaphysical Properties: Chrysocolla is associated with serenity, tranquility, peace, patience, tolerance, acceptance, uncondional love, meditation, calmness, hope gentleness and sensitivity.
