Purple Fluorite Coated Slab

Beautiful banded purple, natural Fluorite crystal from China.

Fluorite is a calcium fluoride crystal with a hardness of 4. It can be found in a wide range of colors, sometimes in multiple colors. It is named after its composition containing fluorine (Latin, fluere = "to flow"). During the 19th century, fluorite was mined in England for its ornamental value.

This lovely translucent slab is coated on one side with a polyurethane coating to make it shiny! The edges are left natural rough.

The slab is 4.5 inches by 3.75 inches and 9 mm or about 1/3 of an inch thick.

Metalphysical Properties: Fluorite is used to clear the mind of confusion, cluttered thoughts, and negativity.
