Brazilian Piranha Agate Stone Gemstone Cabochons Set

This is Piranha Agate from Brazil. It is very translucent. The center piece is a bowed triangle shape 38 mm (1.5 inches) long by 29 mm wide at the bottom. The middle pieces are 32 mm at their longest and 24 mm at their widest and the 2 end pieces are 37.5 mm long by 23.5 mm at their widest. The cabochons are all about 4 mm thick.

In many traditions agate is believed to cure the stings of scorpions and the bites of snakes, soothe the mind, prevent contagion, quiet thunder and lightning, secure the favor of the powerful, and bring victory over enemies.
