Yellow Brazilian Agate Drusy Quartz Crystal Drilled Stone Bead Pendant on Choker

A beautiful, natural light yellowish brown Brazilian Agate covered on the bottom with natural sparkling Drusy (tiny quartz crystals)!

Many agates are hollow, since growth has not proceeded far enough to fill the cavity, and in such cases the last deposit commonly consists of quartz crystals directed towards the free space so as to form a crystal-lined cavity, or geode. A layer of very fine crystals is known as "Drusy". Often the Drusy will be the color of the mineral underneath.

Stone is drilled with a 3 mm hole for easy hanging on a chain, neck choker or strung in your own bead necklace. It comes hung on a 16 inch brown cloth choker with silvertone clasp.

Stone is freeform oval shaped, 48 mm (2 inches) long by 14 mm (.5 inch) wide and 12 mm or almost 1/2 inch thick on the top to 10 mm thick on the bottom. It is polished on the back. This is a lovely and very unique necklace!
