Fluorite Octahedron Mineral Specimen

Beautiful green Fluorite octahedron crystal mineral specimen from China.

Fluorite is a calcium fluoride crystal with a hardness of 4. It can be found in a wide range of colors, sometimes in multiple colors. It is named after its composition containing fluorine (Latin, fluere = "to flow"). During the 19th century, fluorite was mined in England for its ornamental value.

An octahedron is an 8 triangle sided, 3 dimensional shape and in Sacred Geometry it symbolizes the element air.

This lovely specimen is about 1.5 inches or 40 mm point to point.
