Chrysocolla Malachite Stone Sphere Rock Mineral

Beautiful blue Chrysocolla, green Malachite and black Tenorite in a white Quartz.

The sky blue of Chrysocolla, a copper silicate,blends will with green Malachite, a copper hydroxide, and other copper ores. This material is found in the oxidation zone of major copper deposits. Arizona is the leading copper producing state. This material came from the Bagdad Copper Mine in Arizona.

This sphere is hand-cut and 2.25 inches or 59 mm in diameter.

Chrysocolla is known as a healing stone among Native American Indian cultures where it was used for strengthening the body's resistance and bringing about calm feelings where there is upset.
