Pink Rhodonite Stone Gemstone 3 inch Sphere Rock

Beautiful pink Rhodonite from Australia!

This stone gets its name from the Greek word for its rose color. It is a manganese metasilicate with a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5. The black dendritic inclusions are maganese oxide.

Rhodonite was once used to make service platters in Russia and was often given as a gift during royal czarist weddings.

This beautiful sphere is almost 3 inches in diameter and hand cut.
