A small statue, usually small enough to be picked up, is called a figurine. There are many figurines of Buddha from many different gemstone materials. Siddhrtha Gautama was a spiritual teacher from ancient India and the founder of Buddhism. Buddhists generally recognize him as the Supreme Buddha. Though people often believe buddha is chinese or japanese. Some people believe buddha brings good feng shui. I'm afraid I do not know a lot about feng shui, but I do know a laughing buddha sculpture must bring good luck! And a fat buddha figurine compliments any home decor. Especially those carved from natural gemstone materials.
