Cubism was a 20th century art movement, which extended to literature and music. Cubist artworks are characterized by the depiction of natural forms as geometric structures of planes. Objects are broken up, analyzed, and re-assembled in an abstracted form—instead of depicting objects from one viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints.

To the Ancient Greeks and in the modern metaphysical world the cube represents the element earth. This shape symbolizes grounding, stability, power and physical action. A cube shaped stone can help you harness that power. There is actually a religion that extends back through ancient history, also referred to as Cubism, that worships the power of the cube shape!
