Goldstone
This man-made glass shimmers with every move. The most common color is a rust orange (usually referred to as red goldstone. It cobalt is sustituted for the copper it becomes a lovely indigo blue (almost purple) and the emerald green color occurs when manganese is used. Goldstone polishes well with tin or cerium oxide and it can be carved into beads, figurines, spheres, animals and other stone carvings, or cabochons.
