The belief in the magical metaphysical properties of rocks and minerals is not new. Belief in the healing powers of crystals and stones goes back beyond recorded history. There are ancient legends that trace rocks, mineral specimens and crystals back to the creation of the Earth and the Universe.The modern day resurgence of interest in the metaphysical properties of rocks and mineral specimens combines a lot of that old information. In most of my listings I include some metaphysical properties of the rock or mineral specimen. I choose only to include the “spiritual” or “emotional” information as I am no expert and do not wish to give medical advice.
