Natural Genuine Fossil Shrimp
A Fossil Shrimp or Carpopenaeus Callirostrus plate that is 4.75 inches by 3 inches and 10 mm thick.
The fossil shrimp is about 1.25 inches long.
Carpopenaeus Callirostrus is actually an extinct genus of the prawn. This fossil shrimp is about 100 million years old, from the Cretaceous Period.
It was found in Hjoula-Byblos, Lebanon in the summer of 2013 at an altitude of about 850 meters. These fossil beds are some of the most famous in the world.
The material is thin layers of Limestone.
