Agate Polished Stone Slab Orbicular Peach White Rock
This lovely peach and white orbicular Agate polished slab is 5.7 inches by 5.75 inches and 4 mm thick.
Agate is defined by its translucency (ability to see light through it), and by its clearly defined pattern or banding of multiple colors.
This lovely natural agate polished slab came from an old collection of American materials and was not labeled and I couldn't find any similar ones on line, so I don't know where it is from and I think it is rare!
It said "water dep" on the back-I don't know what that means but I have removed the sticker!
In many traditions agate is believed to cure the stings of scorpions and the bites of snakes, soothe the mind, prevent contagion, quiet thunder and lightning, secure the favor of the powerful, and bring victory over enemies.
Metaphysical properties: Agates in general are said to be stabilizing, calming and strengthening.
