Arizona Pietersite Gemstone Polished Stone Slab
This is some of the highest grade of Arizona Pietersite I have ever seen!
This small stone piece is slabbed and polished on one side, sliced on 1 edge and rough on the othern3 edges.
It is just 2.4 inches by 1.8 inches to 2.6 inches at its widest and slightly slanted from about 8 to 8.5 mm thick.
This material absolutely glows with an internal light!
This rare semiprecious stone material is known by the trade name "Arizona Pietersite" because of its superb chatoyant cat's eye effect. It has also been called Arizona Tiger's Eye.
This semiprecious gemstone material is not the same as the original Pietersite found in Africa, or the different material also known as Pietersite found in China.
This material is actually Serpentine with Chrysotile fibers.
