The beautiful pale green Aventurine unpolished stone slab is 4.22 inches long by 1.7 inches wide and 4 mm thick.
It weighs .08 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 4 pictures.
Aventurine's green color is caused my microscopic specks of Fuchsite.
The natural stone variety of quartz known as Aventurine takes its name from the well-known aventurine glass of Venice, Italy, which it resembles.
The glass was named avventurino for the Italian word avventura, or "by chance."
Metaphysical properties of Aventurine: In Ancient Greece, Aventurine quartz was sewn into the clothing of men going to war to help preserve their courage and optimism in battle.
