Green Mottled Marble Stone Slab Lapidary Cabbing Rough Rock
This is a beautiful stone slab of a green mottled Marble that is 5 inches by 2.3 inches and 8.5 mm thick.
The unpolished rough rock slab weighs .28 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 2 pictures.
Marble is a granular rock composed of crystalline calcite grains. it was formed by water working its way through beds of limestone. It is a metamorphic material and is found all over the world in many different colors and patterns.
I'm not sure exactly where this lovely green Marble came from, but I'm pretty sure it was California.
