Product Description
Owls Hole Agate Rough Rock
This lovely rare agate known as Owls Hole Agate nodule is sliced on one face, natural rough on its back.
I believe it is polished, but it is a very poor job are it may be "coated" with something-probably with superglue.
The small collector agate nodule is 2.3 inches by 1.95 inches and .84 of an inch thick.
The Owls Hole Agate comes from Owlshead Mountain near Baker in Death Valley, California. The area has been a part of Death Valley National Park for decades and therefore off limits for collecting.
Owls Hole Agate is known for its sagenite inclusions. Sagenites are blades or needle inclusions and often form in sprays. This lovely natural rock material has golden, white, black and lavender sagenites.
