Plume Agate Stone Slab Unpolished Rock
This lovely Plume Agate unpolished stone slab is 3.4 inches by 3.2 inches and 5.5 mm thick.
It weighs .14 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 5 pictures.
This agate slab is from the Kirkby collection and was self-collected sometime in the 1930's to the 1960's. I'm not sure of it's exact location - it has written on the back "Quinn River Humboldt Wash". I cannot find a Humboldt or Quinn River in Washington, but there is a Quinn River in Humboldt County in Nevada and I believe that is where this material was found.
Plume Agate gets its name from its beautiful plume like inclusions.
