This unique unpolished piece of rough rock known as Spotted Fawn Stone is 4.4 inches long by 2.5 inches wide and 1.76 inches at its thickest.
It weighs 1 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 6 pictures.
Spotted Fawn Stone, named for its polka dot pattern and tan color similar to a baby fawn, is also called Tigilitis and it is found near Globe, Arizona.
It is a Mescal Limestone formation with tube like patterns caused by worms borrowing through the original stone and then eventually the boreholes filled with stone.
