Yellow and Blue Tiger-eye or Tiger's Eye Polished Stone Slab
A lovely natural colored yellow and blue and very flashy stone slab polished on one side of Tiger's Eye or Tiger Eye from Africa.
This gorgeous Tiger-eye stone slab is 4.4 inches by 2.4 inches and 5 mm thick.
Tiger's Eye is a quartz usually with rich yellow and brown stripes, but can be red or blue.
It contains oriented fibers of crocidolite that have been replaced by silica. The fibers are twisted or crumpled instead of straight, reminiscent of sand and sunlight.
Tiger-eye is also vitreous (hard, unbendable and glass-like). With its strong chatoyance, the gemstone gets its name from its resemblance to the eye of a tiger.
