Chalcosiderite comes all sorts of colors from tan to green to orange, white and yellow. High grade Chalcosiderite has stunning black spiderweb matrix.
Chalcosiderite is a copper-iron secondary phosphate and occurs only in a few places in the U.S., where it is associated with the oxidized zones of some copper deposits.
