Product Description
Malawi Agate Polished Collector Rock
Lovely pink and gray Malawi Agate natural rock nodule with one polished face.
This stunning agate is 3.7 inches long by 3 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick.
Malawi Agate were mined in the 1970s in Malawi, Africa. Though they had absolutely stunning colors, the agates came from an area with high tectonic activities (earthquakes), meaning they were heavily fractured, cutting short any further mining activities.
This one does have those fracture lines. They are hard to capture in a photograph, but there is a fracture line on the left (first picture) and in the middle, and the bottom right is has a pretty rough fracture and chip on the edge (see last picture).
