Llanite Unpolished Stone Slab Rough Rock Texas
A unpolished stone slab of Llanite that is 6.25 inches by 3 inches and 7 mm thick.
It weighs .30 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 3 pictures.
Sometimes misspelled Llanoite, it comes form Llano, Texas.
It is a dark peach color and with iridescent blue spots. There is very little of this material left.
It is a form of Rhyolite with Quartz inclusions. The unusual blue coloration of the quartz is thought to be due to ilmenite inclusions.
