This unpolished rock has been thick slabbed (partially on one side) and one edge is slabbed.
The semiprecious stone material is known by the trade name Wild Horse and it is 3.1 inches by 2.3 inches and .5 of an inch thick.
It weighs .28 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 7 pictures.
Wild Horse is also referred to as Crazy Horse or Appaloosa Stone.
It is white magnesite with brown mottling, just like a paint horse. It is claimed it also contains hematite.
Wild Horse was found in the mid-90's near the Gila Wilderness Area in Southern Arizona.
