This lovely smaller Chevron Amethyst gemstone sphere is 1.5 inches or 40 mm in diameter.
This material is called Chevron Amethyst for its lovely chevron pattern of white Quartz and purple Amethyst.
It is a natural crystal from Zambia.
Amethyst can occur as massive, as long prismatic crystals that have a six-sided pyramid at either end or can form as druses that are crystalline crusts that only show the pointed terminations.
