This lovely iridescent Labradorite gemstone fish figurine is hand carved.
The fish figurine relief carving is 3.5 inches tall by 5.25 inches wide and 1 inch thick.
Semiprecious gemstone Labradorite has a background color of dark gray, but displays a beautiful iridescence, giving off rainbow-colored reflections known as labradorescence when light hits it in certain directions.
Labradorite is a feldspar and it shows the iridescent display of colors due to minute inclusions of another mineral.
It is named after where it was first found: Labrador, Canada, although our gemstone material comes from Madagascar.
Metaphysical Properties: Labradorite is thought by some to symbolize the moon and the sun. It is said to assist the wearer to handle changes, promoting strength and perseverance.
The fish represents miracles, good luck, prosperity, foresight, and fortune. The fish can be a helper at times of movement and change, in both financial and spiritual situations.
