Maw Sit Sit Unpolished Stone Slab Green Jade Rough Rock
This small unpolished stone slab is rare Maw Sit Sit green jade and it is 2.87 inches (73 mm) long by 1.86 inches (47 mm) wide and 6 mm thick.
This is what we call commercial grade-not quite the high grade vibrant green, but still a very nice grassy green color.
This lovely green stone slab weighs 45.7 grams and is shown wet in the first 4 pictures.
It has some glue residual on one edge-see last picture.
Gorgeous green with white and black splotches, this is known as Maw Sit Sit, named after the village it was found near.
Maw-sit-sit has a hardness of 6.
Maw-sit-sit is composed of jadeite, chromite, ureyite, symplektite, chrome amphibole, and other lighter minerals.
