This beautiful natural clear Rutilated Quartz crystal Ball is 2.25 inches or 57 mm in diameter.
As is common with this material, is does have natural internal flaws and inclusions which make for a great scenic crystal.
This is one stone that is actually prized for its inclusions! Hairlike inclusions of rutile (a titanium dioxide mineral) embedded in clear quartz give it the appearance of a lightning show or meteor shower.
These inclusions mostly look golden, but they also can look silver, copper red or deep black. Silver Rutile Quartz is very rare. The rutile inclusions silver color primarily comes from the natural hue of rutile itself, sometimes enhanced by intergrowths with other minerals like chalcopyrite or galena.
