In Silver Sheen Obsidian or Gold Sheen Obsidian, when the material is held in bright light it has a flash of sparkling silver or gold colored chatoyance or light seeming to glow from within.
Both Silver Sheen Obsidian and Gold Sheen Obsidian come from Mexico. The work of the mine is primitive. It is done by shovels, pickaxes and wheelbarrows.
