This lovely unpolished piece of rough lapidary rock Spotted Fawn Stone is 3 inches long by 2 inches wide and 1.25 inches at its thickest.
It weighs .26 lbs. and is shown wet in the first 5 pictures.
Spotted Fawn Stone is also named Tigilitis and it is found near Globe, Arizona.
It is a Mescal Limestone formation with tube like patterns caused by worms borrowing through the original stone and then eventually the boreholes filled with stone.
